Il est fondamental de mieux comprendre l'impact des techniques médicales (traitement antirétroviral, charge virale, circoncision, microbicides, prophylaxie pré- et post-exposition) sur les comportements sexuels, les pratiques de consommation de substances psychoactives, les relations et les réseaux sociaux, ceci dans différents contextes culturels, économiques et politiques. Ce numéro aborde aussi les liens entre le médical, le social et la mobilisation politique nécessaire pour lutter contre le VIH.
